Suppliers now that was a can of worms

Both Sophs and I knew what labels we missed, we both knew what shops we could buy from and what we wanted, but it was all in the UK and Ireland.
Oh and they are all big big GIANT companies and they all have very tight agreements with their suppliers and we weren’t silly enough to think we could ever build a relationship with them. And in reality we didn’t want to be same same but we did want to source quality products, that were up to hard play, that had something special about them and weren’t at a price that would break a mum’s heart.
Now I would love to take the credit for finding our fab suppliers but it was mostly Sophs late nights on the internet that helped us source some amazing clothing manufacturers and distributers. We decided early that our selection criteria would be around fair trade and good quality fabric at a fair price.
Early on Sophs found Ava and Luc… amazing organic cotton and even more amazing patterns and appliqués.
Then came Revival Vintage Design, upcycled, recycled vintage fabrics transformed into lunchbags and animals for our zoo.
Not long after came the amazing Tracey Dale’s Five Past Seven and her delightful christmas stockings and treasure bags.
And then Frugi and their amazing stripes and softer-than-soft organic cotton clothes.
Most recently we have had Boys&Girls bold colours and retro prints join our collection.
We are excited that we in the last week we have added to our collection with some gorgeous playsuits and tees from Jessica at Home and the cutest printed tees from Nell.
